HERC’s latest publication unveils the paradox: British schools in Dubai excel academically but fail in mental wellbeing due to unhealthy diets and sleep deprivation.
One of the research papers from Dubai Fitness Challenge 30×30 2022 has finally been published. After more than 10 months of peer-review process, this groundbreaking publication is now available in the reputable Q1 Journal PITS – Psychology in the Schools, published by the esteemed USA publisher Wiley.
The study was a collaborative effort organized by the University of Birmingham Dubai (UOBD) and the HERC-Health, Exercise & Research Center, in partnership with researchers from the University of West Georgia and Educons University. The project received support from private, public, and government entities in the UAE.
