DUBAI POLICE TSAC DRILL PRESENTED AT EXPO 2020 FOR UAE’S GOLDEN JUBILEE
At EXPO 2020’s Main Sports Stage, HERC’s Strength Department organized a tactical strength & conditioning (TSAC) drill with Dubai Police.
Within the Ministry of Interior celebrations (watch the video here), on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its funding (watch the Gulf News video here, and Dubai EXPO 2020 video here), this event was organized by the directive of His Excellency Lieutenant-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
Approximately 200 hundred junior students from Dubai Police Academy (DPA) attended our TSAC drill.
Under the patronage of Major General Dr. Muhammad Ahmed bin Fahd, Assistant Commander for Academic Affairs and Training of Dubai Police, we presented TSAC specifically tailored to meet the demands of DPA’s new joiners.
TSAC Drill was developed to increase future tactical professionals’ performance, readiness, and longevity while reducing fitness-related injuries. These programs have been used for decades not just for military and law enforcement units but also for fire and rescue, first responders, and other emergency services. Our coaches presented the so-called three-phase workout covering all crucial aspects of specific S&C preparation in just 30 minutes using the most advanced training methods.
The event was a huge success, and several local and international newspapers and media platforms covered it, ranging from independent to government outlets.

Director of the Dubai Police Academy, Major General Dr. Ghaith Al Suwaidi, said that there is an intention of organizing such activities on a regular basis throughout the year given the importance of sports and its repercussions on physical and psychological health. Further, increasing employees’ happiness index and positive spirits are equally important.
Our Founder and CEO, Zeljko Banicevic, said that Health, Exercise, and Research Center is looking forward to upcoming multilevel collaborations with Dubai Police. Further, if the youth is the greatest asset of any country, based on what we saw today, UAE’s youth represent the uncut diamonds of its future.
Ivana Banicevic, Co-Founder, Managing Director, and event in charge, believes that students’ reactions to well-planned and flawlessly executed drills are a sign of a promising future for their development. Furthermore, the appreciation and satisfaction of Dr. Saud Al-Rumaithi, Director of Public Relations, Captain Abdullah Al Shamsi, Head of Exhibitions and Marketing, Captain Awad Mubarak, and Ms. Fatima Abu Hajeer, Head of Community Initiatives of Dubai Police, confirmed the success of the event. In addition, our team Lara, Anna, Saeed and Dragan, did a fantastic job.

As a final note, we are incredibly grateful as there is no better way for us to mark the nation’s 50th Golden Jubilee than with Government entities, such as the Ministry of Interior and Dubai Police, at such a venue as EXPO 2020.
