Our Education Department is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Vijo Fitness Academy.

The Vijo Fitness and Lifestyle brand showcases the importance of fitness in people’s lives and motivates them to lead healthier and more active lifestyles. Additionally, the growing popularity of its CEO & Founder, Mr. Vijobi Vakkachan, played a significant role in building the brand. Mr. Vijobi is a former Indian Senior Team Basketball player and Fitness Expert with vast experience within the UAE Fitness Industry. In addition to his professional fitness career, Vijo has worked for some of the top commercial fitness chains to become a successful freelance personal trainer and has now developed his fitness brand, Vijo Fitness & Lifestyle. The idea to form Vijo Fitness Academy was born from Vijo Fitness and Lifestyle’s recognition of education’s role in the fitness industry. This is where HERC’s Education department brings the value and the next level in education of future and current Fitness Professionals. The Academy aims to expand the business into India, starting with operations in all major cities of Kerala. HERC’s Education department will provide a series of courses from the entry-level ones (to become a certified personal trainer) to specialization and advanced courses aimed at trainers who are already certified. HERC’s Education’s difference is in teaching methods, advanced and updated curriculums alongside the latest scientific research, and evidence-based approach. The HERC’s Education team consisted of Ph.D.’s, M.Sc’s, and Professors are leading the way in setting higher standards and improvement of the Sport’s & Fitness Industry in the region. We believe that this collaboration will have a great reach and bring us closer to our mutual goal of educating Fitness Professionals.
